Power Color

Young fascination with mastication
Rolling forward
Crusts crisp, and curvy
While the gourd of the lord
Keeps the agony baying
Before soaring
Through the day and the night
Until twilight
Roars anew again and again
Plumbing the depths
Yet the heavens wept
And ‘twas swept
Up and up
Not to stop
Until set by Newton’s cord
Spinning for all-is-one
Plump with planet kin
Crust crisp with fascination
